Håfa adai! Guåhu si Nolan “Månglo’ ” Muña. I am a Business Partner, Business Consultant, and Multi-disciplinary Artist. I was raised in the great state of Texas but have always been a CHamoru at heart. My CHamoru roots originate from the village of Sinahånña. I have a myriad of ideas, visions, and strategies informed by lifelong experiences in Retail, Food and Beverage, and Celebrity Client Services to ensure Modern CHamoru continues its trajectory. Additionally, my love for music, theatre, and all things CHamoru are some of my guiding principles.

Meet the Owner

Håfa adai todos hamyu! My name is Jonah Babauta and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guåhan (Guam) hailing from the southern village of Hågat (Agat)! I have been serving in the United States Air Force for over 15 years now. In my civilian career, I work as an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter.

For a long time, I wanted to be an entrepreneur but didn’t know where to start. Modern CHamoru is my opportunity to share my culture, ideas, and values to the world.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to my friends and family for the endless love and support. I have finally made my dreams a reality because of you!
